How long does it take to build a website?
This depends on many things including how big the site is, how quickly we get the creative brief and back, and how prepared you are with your website assets (including content, images and video). It could take anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months to build a website. If the project is urgent, we will do our best to work within a tight turnaround time to suit your business need.
Do your designers work in-house, or do you contract them out?
While many companies contract out their web design and development, at ZLJ Web Solutions we do it all in house. Because of this, we are able to provide a more authentic service that truly understands what your business needs to create a successful online presence.
What are the payment terms?
To ensure you are serious about your new online project, we usually request a 50% deposit to be paid up front so we can get started on your new website build or website renovation straight away. We can then work out a payment plan that suits you for the remaining 50%, with the total to be paid in full upon completion. Depending on the package you choose, there may also be ongoing monthly fees (for website hosting, website updates and maintenance etc.) to ensure your website stays current and responsive!

Can I update the website myself?
Absolutely! We design and develop our websites using WordPress, which is user friendly and easy to navigate – even for the not so tech savvy! We are happy to provide basic online training and support so you can update your website yourself.
What information would I need to get together?
We will work closely with you to ensure you are involved in the design and development of your website every step of the way. Our initial consultations are vital for us to establish exactly what your business needs to succeed online. This may include content, images, product and service information, as well as a clear understanding of your customer and audience. If you feel you don’t have a way with words, or are just too busy to get create your content or images, these are services we can offer within your digital package.
I want a website, but I also want help marketing it, do you do that?

How quickly will I see a positive return on my investment?
After defining what the goals and objectives of your business are, we will provide strategies and timelines to achieve your targets within realistic timelines. Generally we see results from around 3 months or so, depending on external influences.
